    Finally a place where your child can bang on a drum with encouragement! FREE drum circle for Kids. The goal is to journey and explore music-making through rhythm, song, and fun activities. Drums are even provided by REMO.
    The older kids and parents play supportive rhythms and songs while the younger children explore instruments and rhythm making.

    A fun-filled festival of music, food and fireworks is held at the CBS Studio Center in Studio City. The Chamber along with CBS and Olive Crest, a foundation that provides homes & services for abused children, join together to produce a wonderful event that provides a variety of entertainment available for all ages, including a children’s fun-zone, a Magic Castle magical show, a model airplane exhibit, along with other multiple exhibits and acts staged throughout the lot, and much, much more. Ask about our VIP package for the day, offering the chance to mix & mingle with film and television stars in the VIP Hospitality Area (Carla’s Cafe), as well as roof-top viewing of the firework display, and access to VIP Parking. Opportunities are available to become involved in this event either as an exhibitor or as a volunteer. We invite you to join us for an exciting day of celebration.

    Local children’s author and Rabbi Zachary Shapiro, of Temple Akiba in Culver City, will read his new picture book, “We’re All in the Same Boat.” This is a whimsical, alphabetical retelling of the Noah’s Ark story. Zachary will also sing animal songs with guitar accompaniment. This is a pre–kickoff for Summer Reading Program which starts the next day, July 1st, at 2 p.m. The summer theme is Be Creative @ Your Library.
