The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), known as the “Summer Lunch Program” provides FREE nutritious lunches and snacks to youth ages 1 through 18 at our City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks recreation centers. The goal of the program is to ensure children receive at least one nutritious and balanced meal per day when school is not in session. This program is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the California Department of Education.
