The Nutcracker Ballet tells the story of Clara, who is given a gift of a Nutcracker doll one holiday by her mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer. When Clara falls asleep following the party, her Nutcracker magically comes to life as a Prince. The Prince and his soldiers fight off the fierce Mouse King, then the Prince takes Clara to the Land of the Sugarplum Fairy where they are entertained by dancers from around the world. Like magic, Clara returns home and we discover it was all a wonderful dream.
