Put on your PJs, grab a stuffed animal, but don’t go to sleep! The Laurie Berkner Band is throwing a Pajama Party Concert! Children’s music superstars and NOGGIN channel favorites Laurie Berkner, Susie Lampert (keyboards), Adam Bernstein (bass) and Bob Golden (drums/ percussion) will perform a series of “Pajama Party” concerts in California, which is a treat because they are rarely on the west coast. Kids are encouraged to come in their PJ’s and bring their favorite stuffed animals (those in the know will put them on their heads for the band’s in-concert favorite “Pig on Her Head”)!

The band will also collect new children’s pajamas &/or new children’s books to donate to The Pajama Program (www.pajamaprogram.org) which provides new pajamas and books for children in need, many of whom are entering foster care.

Widely recognized as one of the most popular indie children’s recording artist in the United States, Laurie Berkner was at the forefront of the current progressive children’s music movement. Her intelligent songwriting, captivating vocals and infectious melodies have won not only legions of little fans, but also parents, who enjoy the music as much as their kids.
