More than 100 Native American artists and artisans from across the country converge at the Autry National Center for the Largest Native American marketplace in Southern California. The annual Intertribal Arts Marketplace celebrates the continuing traditions of thriving Native American cultures and their contributions to the arts. Meet potters, jewelers, sculptors, painters, weavers, woodcarvers, and more and marvel at dancers, singers, storytellers, and musicians as they share their knowledge and inspiration with the public.
This family-friendly event engages the visitor through live artist demonstrations, a Children’s Craft Village, Native food such as Piki bread and plenty of shopping for a wide range of Native arts just in time for the holidays. A Lakota Tipi will be on-display for families to gaze upon and learn about its history. Performers of all ages will be on-hand to inspire rhythmic movements from all.
