By putting kid-friendly lyrics to the greatest hits of classical music, Beethoven’s Wig has laid a classical foundation for a new generation of music lovers. Be prepared for a “perfect blend of lunacy and learning, high brow and hijinks” as they bring their GRAMMY®-nominated show to the Museum’s Sound Stage for “What is Classical?” the July installment of the education department’s monthly family series. Immediately following each performance, families are invited to the GRAMMY Museum’s Target Terrace to for a music-related craft hour!

Once a month, the Education Division offers highly engaging and interactive opportunities for families to enjoy and learn about music together. Watch a performance from an artist in the GRAMMY Museum Sound Stage, while learning about the history of your favorite genre of music. Programs are intended for families and children ages 5 and up.
