The City of West Hollywood is proud to present its free 2009 Summer Sounds Series on select Sundays throughout the summer months. Chairs will be available for attendees of the free concerts in the park, or guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and lounge on the lawn while enjoying the music.

Summer Sounds Concerts at Kings Road Park, 1000 N. Kings Road include:

Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 4 p.m. – Classical music from DMG Music;
Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 4 p.m. – Jazz music provided by String Project Los Angeles;
Sunday, July 26, 2008 at 4 p.m. – Classical music from Brentwood Strings and Liliana Filipovic;
Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 4 p.m. – Special performance of Shakespeare’s classic “Twelfth Night” by the Classical Theatre Lab;
Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 4 p.m. – Classical music from DMG Music.

Summer Sounds Concerts at Plummer Park, 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard include:

Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 3 p.m. – Fresh renditions of Jewish soul music by Klezmer Juice which will be sponsored by Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky;
Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 3 p.m. – Jazz music provided by String Project Los Angeles; and
Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 3 p.m. – Latin jazz music provided by Susie Hansen Latin Jazz Band.
