Summer Solstice Celebration at Local Noon and Sunset

Celebrate the Summer Soltice when the tilt of the Earth’s axis will most incline toward the sun on the longest day of the year. In this short presentation, Dr. Edwin Krupp, director of the Griffith Observatory, will give a short lecture and presentation, then flip the meridian arc so it will say the right time. Afterwards check out the exhibits and installations at inside the planetarium.
