National Get Outdoors Day! is Saturday, June 13, 2009
L.A. Kid Stuff knows you don’t need a reason to take your kids outside. But if anyone wants an excuse, Saturday, June 13, 2009 is the Second Annual National Get Outdoors Day! Sponsored by the U.S. Forest Service and the American Recreation Coalition, the goal is to encourage parents to allow their children to personally experience the great outdoors, whether in a remote mountain wilderness or an urban city park, and develop a sense of stewardship.
