The San Dimas Canyon Park and Nature Center has a 50-year old history, establishing the first Nature Center in the County of Los Angeles Park system during the 1950s. Located in the foothills of San Dimas, just north of the 210 freeway, the natural area is about 125 acres and contains a camping area, animal sanctuary, an animal rehabilitation area, a museum and a hiking trail.
