Celebrate Hawaiian Music at the GRAMMY Museum
Win a family-four pack of tickets to the show, PLUS parking!
This weekend, celebrate the arrival of spring and let the music of Hawaii take you to a tropical place with the GRAMMY Museum’s Musical Explorations Series featuring award-winning recording artist Daniel Ho. You and your kids will enjoy being led through the songs and dances of Hawaii as Daniel Ho plays the relaxing and festive Hawaiian music. You may even walk away having learned the basics of the popular Hawaiian hula dance!
“A Celebration of Hawaiian Music” will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the sound stage at the GRAMMY Museum, 800 W. Olympic Blvd., Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Program doors open at 9:30 a.m. and tickets cost $10 per person and includes museum admission. Purchase tickets at the box office or by clicking HERE or calling (800) 745-3000.
The GRAMMY Museum’s Musical Explorations Series is a great way to combine education and entertainment! Be on the lookout for these bi-monthly family programs, which in the past have included performances by Milkshake, Ozomatli and Ziggy Marley. And if you haven’t checked out the GRAMMY Museum, it’s worth a visit with a permanent exhibit showcasing the history of every possible musical genre you can think of and special exhibits such as the current Elvis at 21 photographs, Michael Jackson: A Musical Legacy and selections from the Neil Diamond Collection. The best part for the kids and the kid in you is that many of the installations are interactive! (Personally, we love the Michael Jackson Billy Jean interactive dance floor!) For more information go to the GRAMMY Museum website.
